Team India batsman Yuvraj Singh will be a part of the ICC's global celebration of the spirit of cricket and will speak about his experience of playing in Pakistan on the governing body's special centenary year website.
The initiative, named 'Catch the Spirit' centenary celebration, will feature each of the ICC's 104 members, who will be hosting activities inspired by the spirit of cricket as part the celebration, the governing body said in a statement.
"To promote this theme and the launch of the ICC's centenary year website catchthespirit.com, leading international stars have named their 'Catch the Spirit' moments which best encapsulate the spirit of cricket," the ICC said.
Yuvraj is among the stars who will be seen on the website as he speaks of his experiences in Pakistan. South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis will reflect on his side's famous chase of 438 to beat Australia in an ODI in Johannesburg.
The other events scheduled to celebrate the ICC's centenary year include the opening of the ICC Global Cricket Academy and the inauguration of the ICC's new headquarters, in Dubai.
The governing body will also launch the Cricket Hall of Fame in association with the Federation of International Cricketers' Associations (FICA).
The ICC will also be celebrating the contribution of volunteers across the world through the award of 1000 centenary medals and will announce new developments to its social responsibility partnership on HIV/AIDS.
