The success of this boy from Jharkhand has surprised one and all. Not only has his ability to hit the ball something been something unimaginable but has his ability to stay cool at the worst of times.

He captured the imagination of cricketing world with a amazing 148 against Pakistan at Vishakapatnam. His batting got him as many headlines as his hairstyles. He had cricket crazy youth out trying to copy his hair styles as well as his style of batting which is unconventional at times.
